Taking a high speed ferry departure from Perth, journey along the Swan River enjoying Perth skyline views and taking in the sights along the river, arrive at Rottnest Island’s A-class reserve complete with stunning coral reefs and crystal clear waters. On arrival at the Island, tour at leisure by a hired bike and see as much of the island you wish at your own pace.
Soon it’ll be time to mingle with furry little Quokkas, the adorable native mammals that are world renowned as the happiest animal on earth! It is believed the quokkas never really had to worry about a predator in their safe space at Rottnest and are thus very friendly and strike the perfect pose for the perfect Instagram selfies. It’s true, the internet has documented evidence.
You also see a variety of incredible highlights starting with Cape Vlamingh, a spectacular location most commonly used for whale watching. Experience a behind the scenes tour of the Oliver Hill Guns and Tunnel fortification before making your way to Salt Lake to discover the many stunning salt lakes on the island which are known to turn a beautiful shade of pink. After a wonderfully wholesome tour, complete your day cruising back into Perth.
